We love getting updated photos from new families. Chloe was adopted in February 2013. Here she is all grown up in August 2013. Isn’t she stunning? We sure think so.
Miss Dawson, Walker Hound, is 18 months old and approximately 65 pounds. She enjoys playing with other dogs or just lounging.
Miss Dawson is house broken, crate trained, leash trained and somewhat shy but comes out of her shell to play and give lovin’. She loves curling up on the sofa or chair on cold days and evenings but is eager to play outside when the time and weather is right.
If you are ready for a devoted and well mannered companion take a look at Miss Dawson. She is spayed and up to date on all vetting.
Why such a serious face, Oliver? Could it be that there is a treat somewhere close to the camera? You can see from his pictures that Oliver is a dog that can sit and pay attention.
When he’s not putting on a tie to go job-hunting (which translates into working for kibble), this 1 1/2 year old black lab enjoys running and playing with his best friend, Bishop. Yes, Oliver loves other dogs. We haven’t asked Oliver if he likes cats or not.
This serious-faced boy is eager to please and has mastered “sit” and “stay.” He especially loves performing those commands if there is a stick or a chew toy as a reward. Like all labs, Oliver is no couch potato. His new home should be ready for romping and running to give him the exercise his breed requires.
Cross is always ready to have a good time. This 5 month old puppy is happy, happy, happy. Boy does he love to swim…and run….and romp…and play.
But it’s not all play. Cross is learning good manners and has mastered the art of sitting pretty for a treat. In fact, he and his sister, Sweetheart, are getting very skilled at syncronized sitting!
Cross would love a home with an active family who will take him hiking and throw the ball over, and over and over. He is a smart fellow and, like all puppies, will benefit from basic obedience training.

Don’t you just want to reach in the photo and pet this puppy? She is a little ball of fluff and fun. Anouk is one of 8 puppies and a mama dog rescued from the woods. She is having a grand time in her foster home.
Anouk will be ready to travel to a new home around July 18th. Until then, she’s going to play and cuddle from dawn to dusk. Go for it, Anouk!

Remember the litter of puppies living in the hole in the woods? Well, here is one of them. Miss Fannette is having a ball in her foster home. She is enjoying 3 squares and day and all the play a puppy could ask for.
This girl is a water bug. She will run in it, sit in it, and even stick her face in. She loves to be wet and dirty.
She also loves to cuddle and knows just what kind of look to give you to melt your heart. She is going to be a beautiful adult dog. Email warmhearts@earthlink.net for an application to adopt this show-stopper of a puppy.

When Tess and Paige learned there was going to be a photo shoot, they perfected their cutie patootie poses. Nice job, girls!
When these little beagle mix girls aren’t posing for photos, they are busy playing and learning to walk on a leash. Such smart little girls. They will be ready for new homes around July 18th.
This little ball of fluff is 11 weeks and 13 pounds of cuteness. Franklin is everything you would expect from a puppy his age. He is curious, energetic, playful and sweet.
Franklin’s mother is an Australian Shepherd and his father is a Golden Retriever/Lab cross, so Franklin will be a medium to large adult dog.
Franklin would love a home with an active family and older children to play with. He is all about having a good romp and lots of exercise.
If you would like to see more of Franklin, watch this little video.

When Warm Hearts received a phone call about a mama dog and 8 puppies found starving in the woods, we had to help. They were discovered when a puppy appeared at the edge of the woods after the floods in Arkansas.
The family took food to the woods for several days but were not able to catch the mom or any of the puppies. That’s when we stepped in to help.
The pups were hiding in a deep hole that was surrounded by broken glass, sharp pieces of tin and other debris that made rescuing them dangerous.
Warm Hearts’ member, Cindy King, spent most of a day trying to get the puppies. Some were in the hole and she discovered more puppies hiding
in another hole deeper in the forest.
After spending hours in the heat, all 7 puppies were finally rescued. They are now safe in foster care.
Buddy is a darling 2 1/2 year old Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie. What a personality this boy has. He is friendly, curious, energetic, and a cuddler. What a great combination.
Buddy came to us as an owner release. He was living with a great couple in their mid-80’s who realized they couldn’t give Buddy the active life-style he needs. So now Buddy is looking for a new life with an active family who understands and loves his breed.
Buddy is a larger yorkie – about 20 pounds. That is just the right size for an indoor-outdoor dog who loves riding in the car.
Like all terriers, Buddy is an explorer. For that reason, a fenced yard is a must for this curious boy.
Email warmhearts@earthlink.net for an application to adopt Buddy.
