The picture at the top of this page is from our “Doggie Birthday Party” fund raiser in October 2011. Organized each year by Bunnie Lester and Jennifer brewer under the guise of hosting a birthday party for their dogs, Paddie and Soleil, this event has been successful at raising money and collecting food for Warm Hearts. Thank you, Bunnie and Jenn!!!
We have some great items to auction.
For the 7th consecutive year, animal lovers in the community gathered at the Joplin Volunteer Fire Department to raise funds for the animals in Montgomery County. What a great event this is: A fried catfish dinner with all of the fixings, a huge silent auction and a fast-paced live auction!
Of course, pets are welcome and we always have a few four-legged friends hoping someone will drop a piece of fish.
This year was a huge success. We raised over $13,000.00 to support our foster animals, our emergency medical fund, and our low cost spay neuter program.
A heartfelt thanks to our sponsors: Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa, Point 28 LLC, The Joplin Store, Turtle Cove Spa. And, thank you to our volunteers: The Joplin Volunteer Fire Department, WHHS Members and Foster Families.
And, last but certainly not least, a HUGE THANK YOU to all who donated items, attended the function, and supported us with your dollars.

The event will again be hosted at the Joplin (Arkansas) Volunteer Fire Department on Mountain Harbor Road. There will be plenty of great food, and both a live and silent auction will be held with great items on which you can bid.
We look forward to seeing you at this important fund raising event for the benefit of the neglected animals of Montgomery County.
The Warm Hearts Humane Society won Non-Profit Organization of the Year at the Chamber of Commerce Banquet. We are grateful to have such great community support.
